Immer Treu German Pinschers is not a business.  We came to the German Pinscher breed fairly recently after extensive research to determine what would be the ideal breed for our circumstances.  We wanted a mid sized, energetic, loyal family dog, and tough breed, who was capable of acting as home protection and we found that this breed met all of those criteria.  Additionally we wanted a dog who is a sight hunter with a strong prey drive because we have an overabundance of moles on our property.  We have been pleased with our choice of a dog. Both Lorraine and I have been involved in training and showing dogs in the conformation ring, Lorraine with Papillons and me with Rottweilers.  When we began planning to move to Washington, Lorraine spent about a year researching and selecting the breeder with the line of dogs we wanted to buy from and bought Angelsun Attract Attention.  Our daughter gave her a call name of Bahn for Autobahn since she moves so fast.  I prefer to call her Bon-Bon because she is reddish brown in color and such a sweet dog.  Now that Bahn is an AKC and International Champion, she will be concentrating on obedience and performance. 

Bahn was raised with children and Papillons and doesn't have any problem with either large or small dogs, although she is territorial about her property.  When we decided to breed Bahn, we were fortunate that the dog that we wanted to breed her to was available and actually located in the same state.  We are hoping that all of the great characteristics, both of appearance and conformation as well as their personality, will be passed along to their pups. 

We are pleased to announce that Immer Treu German Pinchers "Bahn" (AM and INTL CH Angelsun Attract Attention ) had her puppies on October 25, 2009.  She had eight puppies, four boys and four girls.  Three of the puppies were black and tan and five were red or red stag in colors.  

She had been bred to Revival German Pinschers "Lukas" (Am/Can CH Oakwood V Kaitlers Revival) who as of this writing is the TOP WINNING All-breed German Pinscher in the History of the American Kennel Club.  He is an amazing dog.

The dogs pictured to the right are the puppies parents,  Lukas and Bahn.  The picture was taken after the Olympic Kennel Club 2009 show.  They had finished BOB and BOS (Best Opposite Sex) so often that we felt that photographing them together with their ribbons was appropriate.
